A printmaking workshop that comes to you!

Picture this: a group of your closest friends, or perhaps some new acquaintances, right in the comfort of your kitchen or living room, having a guided craft party!

Perhaps some light tunes in the background, a beverage of your own choosing, and I will guide you to creating your own original piece of art.

How does it work?

This is a printmaking workshop in your own space, and with your own group of friends!

Get together 6-10 people, and I come to you! I’ll bring all the tools and materials and walk you through the entire process.

What is linocut printmaking?

Linocut is a form of relief printing. You will carve an image out of a block of rubber to make your own stamp.

No experience or artistic skill is necessary!

The details:

Cost: the cost is $50/person, with a minimum of 6 and max of 10.

Locations: currently print parties are limited to in/around Chittenden County, Vermont.

The fun stuff: this event is whatever you want to make it - want it to be a carve&sip? Pick up your fav wine. Charcuterie? Do it up. Cozy tea party? I love it. Let your imagination roam.

Any food/drink is byo as the event is in your own space.

FAQ

Do I need any experience?

No experience is necessary! I’ll teach you every step of the way. You don’t even need any kind of drawing skill, I’ll have tracing paper and reference pictures in case you’re feeling any kind of artists block!

What if we have less than 6 people?

6 people isn’t mandatory, but booking 6 seats is the minimum cost for viability on my end!

What should I wear?

It’s possible to get ink on your clothes, so bear that in mind with your outfit choice. I’d recommend not wearing clothing with very wide sleeves!

Can we bring our own things to print on?

Absolutely! I will provide white printmaking paper. But if you have other items (such as an article of clothing you want to add a print to!) feel free to bring it!
